APPLICATIONS :
Lynx vacuum
cleaners offer high suction performance with the
flexibility which allows them to be plugged into any single phase electric
power point [220/240 volt or 100/115 volt]. The Lynx can be used for basic
vacuum cleaning of factories, warehouse, offices, computer installations,
cars, buses and trains as well as for vacuum chimney sweeping and boiler
cleaning.
Fitted with a pushing handle and adjustable
floor nozzle, the Lynx is ideal for floor sweeping and the replacement of the
dry filter by a mesh screen and effective vacuum for liquid including
detergents and oils, which can e emptied via a drain plug. Lynx vacuum
cleaners are fitted with a standard tapered hose inlet of 50 mm bore,
requiring and adaptor when used with smaller diameter hoses.
TOOLS AND ACCESSORIES
Lynx machines can be used with hoses of 50
mm, 40 mm and 30 mm bore and nearly 100 different tools are available.
However, the standard set detailed here is specified for most general cleaning
duties.

STANDARD SPECIFICATION
It includes a 900 watt bypass type of vacuum
motor comprising twin fan impellers with direct drive from standard series
wound brush/commentator motor, controlled by a 2 pole on/off switch. The
vacuum motor is fitted to the lid of the mild steel separator bin,
mounted on a trolley with twin wheels and swiveling front castor. In its most
basic form, in the dry version only the vacuum motor is protected by a fabric
filter sleeve and cage. Complete assembly includes pushing handle and 10
meters 3 core electric cable.
SPECIAL OPTIONS:
It can be supplied in a number of variants
designed to satisfy individual requirements. For WET MATERIALS - The dry
textile filter bag is removed and a nylon filter screen takes its place, with
a float type suction cut-off valve to prevent over filling. For FLOOR
SWEEPING, DRYING - An adjustable front floor nozzle 61 cms wide, complete with
short connection hose, is available as an alternative to the conventional
wander house. For CHIMNEY SWEEPING - Specialists in this field
frequently prefer to purchase the Lynx vacuum motor and canister without
pushing handle or trolley. For DUST /SWARF EXTRACTION - The Lynx unit without
handle or trolley, provides an excellent free standing unit for LVHV dust
extraction from drills and other tool applications.
